Outgoing calls over Femtojack are less complex because YMax simply handles the outgoing call.
The trick will be routing incoming calls to the FemtoJack. This "hand-off" will require the cooperation of the wireless companies. When callers ring your cell phone, the cell carrier wants the call ($$$) to be placed over their towers and not Femtojack. Don't see this being a cooperative task.

"When at home and in range of the Femto Jack all calls from your cell phone will be routed through the magic Jack VoIP network rather than through your cell carrier and vice versa if somebody calls you. ", so if somebody call you,you will get the call through your cell carrier networking rather than trough the majic jack voip network? is it right?

Raja-

Specifics on the femto Jack have yet to be release but I don't believe that it is routed through a wi-fi internet connection. Traditional femtocells use tiny 3G radio masts but the femto Jack, from what I understand, is a bit different. It is clear that the femto Jack will be used to route calls made with a cell phone over magic Jack's dedicated VoIP network.

I will provide an article with information once it is release.

Regardless, it is clear that if the product works as Ymax Corp says it does then it will be a great way to eliminate the need for a landline while also possibly lowering cell phone costs.

So with Femto jack, are the cell phone calls routed through the wifi network ( on VOIP) in the house? Femto jack is then some sort of USB adaptor to cell phones for wifi network?

Any ideas how the femto jack can carry the cell phone calls on VOIP ( without using wifi)? If it still uses cell spectrum, then the user still is using his plan minutes. Isnt it?
